Ho...I must confess that in many ways I prefer FoB.

However if you have not tried Maurice give them a go, the card system is great fun. They are only really suitable for one to one battles though.SteveMhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09750604219474369883noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7949706697278532115.post-53490351546058235792014-12-23T02:23:40.121+00:002014-12-23T02:23:40.121+00:00Great looking tables and figures. Our biggest games have seen over a 1,000 miniatures on a 30ft table but the more common small games with a handful of companies on a 5'x6' foot table have been just as much fun. Some battle reports can be found on my blog under the label NQSYW . http://gameofmonth.blogspot.ca/search/label/NQSYWRoss Mac rmacfa@gmail.comhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04053555991679802013noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7949706697278532115.post-40129565588657569822014-12-22T09:04:42.837+00:002014-12-22T09:04:42.837+00:00I have a copy of Maurice but not got around to try...I have a copy of Maurice but not got around to trying them out , TonyThe Good Soldier Svjekhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08749564052124659180noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7949706697278532115.post-42260307727031953332014-12-21T23:38:10.779+00:002014-12-21T23:38:10.779+00:00Agreed. You just can't beat the look of everything. The defender should always get a chance of firing first.

I also have BAR - but not enough figures.

FoB and Maurice are both very good rules - if you have not tried them give them a go Maurice lite is free download.

I have been viewing your blog on and off - I am now following it.

Thanks for comments.

SteveSteveMhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09750604219474369883noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7949706697278532115.post-54563315285266145182014-12-21T21:12:07.043+00:002014-12-21T21:12:07.043+00:00I have cast up armies using Prince August moulds a...I have cast up armies using Prince August moulds and used 'Charge' and agree they do take time - as I play solo this doesn't matter as much , Have you tried BAR - Battles for the Ancient Regeme , a cross between the Charge and Grant rules ?.More controversially have you thought of using 'Black Powder' ? - my blog with my figures is at
http://tonystoysoldiers.blogspot.co.uk/ , Cheers TonyThe Good Soldier Svjekhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08749564052124659180noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7949706697278532115.post-88569226494242237952014-12-21T21:06:14.710+00:002014-12-21T21:06:14.710+00:00Incredible...Incredible...Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
